Cordilleras Heights (MLS Area 336) is nestled in the hills of Redwood City. Though many homes have a Redwood City mailing address, they may not be technically in incorporated Redwood City. 464 Upland, for example, is in San Mateo County’s unincorporated area and is not within Redwood City’s city limits.

Downtown Redwood City, just a few minutes drive from 464 Upland, has done a lot to revitalize its streets. With new restaurants, a new movie theater, activities in the square and new shops, Downtown Redwood City is again becoming a popular place to go on a Friday night.

Most Cordilleras Heights residents shop at the Whole Foods or the Safeway, both at the corner of El Camino and Jefferson, which is just a quick drive from 464 Upland.

Crunch Gym (formerly Gold’s Gym) is at the corner of Veterans and Whipple. This is a full service gym with over 21,000 sq ft of space. There is also a Powerhouse Gym in Downtown Redwood City on Broadway.
